Talking I Found 7.3 PSD IPR O-Rings separately

I have been working on HD, MD, and, LD diesels for a long while, and came across IPR O-rings for Powerstroke. Caterpillar and Navistar share components: IPR, Injector design, and other small parts. The IPR o-rings are almost impossible to get through ford and navistar but caterpillar sells each in its own little bag.
The part numbers are as follows:

033-6028 O-ring
123-3132 Backup ring
033-6039 O-ring

I've never replaced these on a Cat for leaking, only as a service item when doing high pressure oil line. These are faulty on the PSD more often than the IPR but are not serviceable with ford parts. NOW THEY ARE SERVICEABLE!!!

From when mine failed in 2003:

IPR O-Ring Kit:
(Ford) F6TZ-9C977-AN
(International) 1825806C92

International kit cost me $11.00 or so back then.

Impeccable timing gents. I've been looking for a way to get an IPR o-ring kit without having to give Ford $40.

Thanks for the info.

so do you just replace the o-rings or do you have to open it up beside removing the magnet?

You can do either. You can't replace the o-rings without removing the IPR from the HPOP and as long as it's out you might just as well disassemble it the rest of the way and clean out the inside of the valve

To OP , if you take it apart , ignore the pic with the pipe wrench on the threads in Rodney's link. The pipe wrench goes on the small barrel just above the threads in the pic
