71 F250 Sport Custom green interior parts

I have a 71 F250 sportcustom 2wd that I am restoring. It has the green interior and I am having trouble finding origional parts. For example were would I find a green drivers side arm rest, dash pad. Also were could I find a new like origional seat cover for the sportcustom package. Also how about a greeen stearing wheel? And origional green sport custom floor mat? I have tried LMC, Dennis Carpenter, Macs Antique Auto Parts, and they don't have any of the above listed parts. I would appreacate the help thanks.

hey there thefordman,
seems like the hardest thing to find will be the floor mat.
the dash, armrest, and steering wheel can be custom matched
with paint or dye. take a look at http://autoupholsterykits.com
for your seat. they only show one ford truck kit but it looks
identical to my 71 sport custom. i don't have the kit myself
but it looks great in the picture. price is 190.00

They never made a green '71-up wheel that i know of.I think the wheels '71-2 were black only.
I have had two green '71-2's and both had black wheels.
'70 and below had the skinny grip three spoke wheels.
To bad on the armrest,I just dyed two mint green ones black for my project.Keep your head up,the parts are out there.
Need anything else give me a hollar

I don't know if you can be clued in, but I'll sure try!! :-)

First, one owner doesn't mean no one messed with anything...

The 1971/72 wheel came in Black, Blue, Green and Red. It was described as a two-spoke and measured 16-1/2-inches (OD).

To the best of my knowledge, the steering wheel has always been color keyed to the interior, probably at least since 1965. The floor mat is color-keyed on the sport custom, explorer and some Ranger packages. That's about the size of it...maybe you need to get out and see more trucks Blue! I know I do... ;-)

I appreciate your kindness but "see more trucks"?
Thats all i see and mess with.I was at a big hillbilly Ford truck yard in the Kansas/Mo river bluff yesterday and never seen a colored wheel.Did come into a mess of rattle snakes but thats another story
I 100% do not doubt your info SM point blank.I respect your opinions/facts.
But riddle me this, how many black interior '71-2's do you see?I have seen just a couple bothe were Rangers. So with all the black wheels i have seen and owned, thats means black interiors?I think there is no rhyme/reason to some of the combos'My green '72 had green interior with black pad, steering wheel, seat, arm rests, but all orig with the green metal.
I believe you on the wheels colors. But,I have seen so many black ones and never a other colored one its hard to believe.
Maybe just a weird situation on my part.???

Take care SMan~

Try jcwhitney.com, I found door panels there for my 79. They might have something for you?

I can't speak to the ones you have had or seen, but I have seen two or three "black interiors" of sorts. Most of the time it is the seat and dash pad, or perhaps just the wheel and column. I can add that I have a Sport Custom out back which had a blue wheel. Take a look at some of the literature. In looking at what I have there seems to be all color-keyed wheels. Go figure.

I have a 72 F250 Camper Special that originally was the two tone white and green with green interior. The green interior is still intact with the exception of the steering wheel which is blue, obviously replaced at some point. I pulled a column and wheel out of a 72 in the boneyard that had two tone white and blue. This truck had a blue interior with a blue column and blue wheel. I had a 71 years ago that had a blue interior with a blue wheel. I also purchased a green wheel on ebay, but I do not know what year truck it came off of. My opinion is the colors were available, just my 2 cents worth.

The green wheel on my green truck is actually a black wheel painted green. Most of the green has worn off, revealing black. Pretty sure it was original, so i'd think it was painted at the factory.
