Need some tune-up specs for 360/390 stock 2BBL

Until I can find some type of manual, I really need some basic settings for timing, plug gap, distributor, etc. Can someone please point me in the right direction.

Is your vacuum advance on the distributor a single or a dual (one or two ports)?

Tune up specs

Correct-a-mundo for 1970 models. Prior to, and after, 1970 Ford listed these specs:
Plug gap: 34
Point gap/dwell: .017, 26-32
Timing: 6* BTDC, manual; 10* BTDC automatic
Curb idle speed: standard, 650 rpm in Neutral; auto, 550 rpm, in Drive, wheels chocked, brake set, headlights on.
When doing the timing, pull and plug vac advance hose at the distributor.
So, why the slight difference in specs? Only Ford knows for sure.
Either way will get your truck in the good running ballpark.
Good luck.
