Free to good home -

or maybe just any old home. I have an 87 ford F100 shorty with no engine or tranny and a Washington State Title.

I am fixing to cut some body pieces off, but could be convinced to leave entire if someone wants to use the body. Otherwise, it gets cut up shortly.

Speak now, or forever hold your piece!

Dang! I'd say yes but my driveway's gettin' kinda full and I'm not yet lined up on a new place to stash vehicles. Not to mention I simply don't have time to come down and get it. Oh well...

Dan, you find a place to store vehicles for future projects and I will help with the rent! There are two trucks in LA that I would buy in a heartbeat if I had a way to store them - not counting this truck frame which I wish I cound keep!

What did it used to have in it? a 300, or 302?
Dont you live in Merced or something? I'd love to have the truck, all I have now is a Geo Metro, & my wife's minivan. Could make use of that new trailer you got.

Clint, right now I have 17 vehicles (of which 5 are parts vehicles and 1 is a wrecked race car) in 5 different locations in 2 counties. And that doesn't include the boat, trailers, and bikes, nor the 2 F1s I'm going to be getting! Of course, some of those are due to go away soon of which a couple are merely investments and not for the long term.

But I might have all my storage problems taken care of soon. I'll keep you posted!

Sorry, too late, unless you want to have a roadster?

JD is wreaking out a 62, but I do not know if it has a title. I may buy a 76 with a good body if you would be interested in it. It would have a good California title, but I think it needs to pass smog. If I get it it would be for the engine and transmission - I have no use for the rest of it.

I would have no use for the original engine anyway. It would be swapped out as a diesel swap project.

How does that work with the smog laws? Can you remove a gas engine and convert to diesel and stay legal?

Yep, that's why I wanted to do it. There's a loophole in the system, and I cant remember the exact paper needed, but I saw it on another site someplace.
