$260.00 for rods?

I have my 360 at the machine shop right now and im turning it into a 390.
It is almost compleate all but the rods.
He calls me and says the cheapest rods he can find are 260$ Im like WHAT?!!!
Is this dude just rippin me off or what?

Thats near to the cost just to repair/refurb stock rods. Assume 75 to buy some ARP bolts, and about 10 each for recon the big ends - leaves about 100 for mag and new bushings. Seems right.

for new rods that is about the right price. there are 2 sets of rods on DSC for $80.

Just wait til the day you have to tell her you bought a set of rods for $1100 and they didnt come with bearings!! LOL....
