My 04 has the blower motor squeal also but only when the temperature drops below 30 degrees. You can see the end of the blower motor housing below and slightly to the right of the glovebox. There are 3 bolts that hold it in place. Getting them out is no problem. Trying to force the whole blower motor out with the squirel cage attached is the problem. The floor comes up at an angle just enough so there doesn't seem to be enough room to get the whole asembly out. Also be careful of the electrical connection at the back of the motor. I tried for awhile to get it out. But it was very cold that day and I feared I might break something so I gave up. If its still under warranty I recommend having a dealer fix it. That way if they break something while working on it they eat it not you. Mine is quiet right now and hopefully I will have this 04 POS sold before the cold weather comes back.

Blower Rumble
Just found a rumble noise coming from my 2004 F150 Blower Motor on HIGH setting. When I first heard it, I thought a Helicopter was flying overhead, turned the blower down and the Helo went away, turned it back on High and the Helo came back!
Anyone?????
Dang thing only has 40K on it and I have till June for the lease to be up..HOLD ON BABY..... I hate the thought of having to repair it before the lease is up!!!!

I'm thinking it could still be the blower motor bearing, particularly since it sat for 6 weeks. I would really let the dealer fix it if it's still under warranty and if you have the time to drop it off.
rle, just curious, but there's nothing blocking the air intake ducts on the outside of the truck, under the wipers, is there? Leaves, debri, dead animal (only half kidding). That could possibly cause the rumble at only high settings, as the unit can't suck enough air in. Also, it could be a bad blower motor that only manifests itself at higher RPM's. If that's the case, it will probably work it's way into the lower settings as well. Get er fixed now.
