Lariat, I thought we just about had a fishing g2g going then Greywolf i thought bailed on us. I also thought someone with enough powers could e-mail all the chapter members and get them to chime in instead of putting up a post and hoping they will log on and see it then make some comments or input. Guess i need to stop thinking, it makes my head hurt!
Let me thought one more time, how about a picnic type meet at a lake or sometnig where we could fish, the kids could swim, the wives could whip up sometrhing to eat type of deal?????

I'm all for that type of a meet. We need to pick a lake & a date. How about Pickwick? I've emailed all the local members of another club about meets. It did help inform the ones who don't post much. I'm the western chapter leader in that club.I don't know if its ok to do it on FTE. I'd be glad to do it if its ok with the FTE rules.

Check something out for me - just to see if you guys can do it, okay?
Click on the member list link up top there, see if you can order it by chapter, and then see if you can reorder the list with the advanced settings to show:
Tennessee Chapter members that have posted within the last three or four months.
It's a useful tool, but I don't know if it can be used by everyone. I think it can! There is only one way to find out tho...
The advanced search options in the member list area is a very useful thing to know about. But what I want to make sure of is that it isn't just some special thing I can do because I'm a chap leader.

Pickwick is about 100 miles east of Memphis. Its in westtntruckers neighborhood. I take highway 72 from Collierville to Corinth Miss then I take highway 45 north to the dam. The state park is there plus the battlefield is close by.The area has lots of things for kids & adults to do It takes a day to visit the battlefield. Its probably closer for you to take I40 east to the 45 south exit Greywolf. I might see about getting a campsite & make a weekend of it.

And I hear Cap'n about the gas, but for me I figure four gallons each way (Cuss me if you want!).
I also luv old battlefields, but if we do good what does ice cost for a cooler chest?
I WILL stock my fridge that day...
