changing a/c clutch

OK,how do I get the clutch-pulley assembly off the compressor?I have changed out compressors before but now I need to swap clutches from a leaking compressor to one that works but the has a noise coming from it when engaged.I used my shadetree stethoscope(a piece of 3/8 hose) and found the noise is right in the clutch. It doesn't sound like it is from the compressor,it sounds like it is right out at the clutch.

There is a special tool. If you look at the center of the clutch there are threads in the center. the tool threads into it and a bolt screws down the center of the tool and pushes on the compressor shaft. However the last couple I have removed just slid off by hand, didn't need the tool. Good luck.
