I have to get my 68 f100 360cid inspected sometime in the next week. I was wondering if there are anythings i have to look for when doing this. both turn signals work. brake lights work. head lights work & brights. Only thing that doesnt work is the light that is on the license plate. i can get a new bulb but i was wondering if it mattered.
It depends where you live. Different states have differnt laws i live in Chesapeake,VA and have a 1969 F100 witha 390cid and they made me get a new light for license plate.
An inspection for insurance/roadworthiness usually includes lights, brakes(service and parking), door latches, seatbelts, heat/defrost, exhaust, windshield and holes in the body. Depends on the mechanic as to what you can get away with for the minor stuff.
Wow, its a small world. I live in Virginia beach, VA. Are the laws pretty much the same? You know about Ingrems salvage yard? I was just there today. They really dont have any 67-72 series trucks in there. do you know of anywhere that would. Thanks
