dually fender repair ??
I have to replace the driver's side rear fender on my '01 dually. I have found one in a junk yard that needs a little work.(cracked and broken) Has anyone had any experience repairing these?(Bonding pieces together) If so, can you give me some hints on whats best to use and how to get the best results. Thanks

A company called SEM makes a two part fiberglass repair kit, probably $50 or so though. That is what I use when repairing snowmobile hoods, which are subject to serious vibration. You also need to use a mesh netting for strength. After you do the inside, you flip it over and grind a V into the front side, then fill it with SEM and sand smooth. Skim it over with a tube of filler, sand, prime, then wet sand, followed by paint.
Or you could get some tigerhair fiberglass bondo and have at it!
