yeah i had 2 crashes in my 97 PSD, one in the snow i hit some black ice going around a turn and when i let off the throttle the back end came around because the 4WD slowed the front down faster because it had greater traction, i hit a tree head on at 25 mph, previously i had a trailer hitch reciever and a 3/4 x 5 inch solid steel D ring in place of the square reciever, it stoped the truck dead and only casulty was the bumper, i used a piece of 6 inch 3/8 inch thick C channel as a new bumper made my self. looked good and i painted it to match the truck, and no less than a week later going down the high way some old lady in a subaru outback was in the fast lane and decided that she wanted to make it into the exit lane which was going to end in about 50 feet, so she slammed on the brakes and lets just say this truck doenst stop quite as fast at a 2500 pound subaru, i tried missing her but it was to fast, i hit her with my right front and took off her entire back end, the cop that showed up was the same cop that gave me a warning for doing a burn out in my PSD in my school parking lot, and he was just cracking up at how little damage there was to my truck, i had to replace the fender, head light, turn signals, bumper to grill pannel and repainted it all for 750$. i got a new piece of 6 Inch C channel 3/8 inch thick, this time i welded them back to back to make a box so this time it will not even dent, but it just shows how little people think then they hit the gas or slam on the brakes and not think of giving the guy behind them the proper time to react,

Some idiot kid who had just got his license tried to beat us through an intersection and didn't make it. The weight of the trailer/horses basically turned Dad's truck into a plow- smashed into this idiot's (actually his mom's) car, crushed it to heck, and barely put a dent in the bumper of the Chevy. The ironic part was, there was a state policeman right behind the kid when he tried to outrun us What an idiot... he was running around bawling about how his mom would ground him for wrecking her car
