Memorial day driving, WATCH IT
I know most of us with our lisances, are a bit heavy of foot...
This is a major weekend for the fuzz to bust people, so wear your seatbelts (if its required), dont speed, find your muffeler/cat (if you took it off) and keep the paperwork in check.
If your drinking, SPEND THE NIGHT, AND DONT LEAVE *unless the cops bust the party down... run if you can*
Dont drink and drive... You might spill
Reason I'm giving this warning, is because I (in a 3 or so mile strech of road) saw about 4 people pulled over. I flashed my lights to warn other drivers heading the other way. I guess thats not legal, but no cops saw me (or cared)
Just watch it, we dont need any more posts about getting ticketed added to the cop encounters thread
Good luck to all, and have a safe weekend

Yeah, and get arrested for letting minors drink with you...
Lights, might be able to pass off as fumbeling with them... Theres no way in hell your getting a warning for a sandwich board. I dont know what they call it, but they dont like it when you help warn other drivers, at all

being an old sob, i'd remind that Memorial day wasn't just a party day. you all are smart enough to know that Mon. is about heros. beer drinking is fine, beer drinking and driving is a death sentence or at least a bank breaker. i got popped for DWI 15 yrs ago. $7000 later i walked out with a speeding ticket. well, it's still in DMV records i got stopped for DWI, and it still hurts. tomorrow is about our memories of heros. have fun but please stay safe and smart

Yeah, seriously, i think more people drink because they're not supposed to. And you can only buy a long rifle or a shotgun here in the us after 18, you have to be 21 for handguns. But still, good point. I think they should make it so there is no drinking age. Then us kids would have to find something else thats illegal to take up our completely time free days!

Yeah, meth is big in michigan, that's why we've got so many bears on the highway between chicago and detroit...
I think the reason its 21 and not 18 anymore (it used to be, 30 years ago) is that there are 18 year olds in high school. How many 21 year olds do you see in high school? I should think that if 18 year old seniors in hs are of legal purchasing age, they would certaintly provide to minors in hs, whereas that will still happen with college students, but 19 and 14 are a looong way apart...

YAY canada! (and by anything, I know you mean ANYthing... Its too bad, but it happens everywhere)
I meant a freshman in hs who had just turned 14 getting alcohol from a senior in hs, versus a freshman in college at 19 getting alcohol from an upper classman. There's a slight gap... and also, high school students tend to interact less with college students (most of the time), lots of times because it isn't cool if you're in college and you have someone from hs up more than once a week. HAH!
