FTE/Club FTE Game Plan For The F100 Supernationals

FTE Has A Bunch of Things Planned for the Show!

Items in this posting:

1. FTE's location
2. Picnic Plans
3. Cart Races
4. Breakfast Plans
5. Club FTE member discounts
6. New Products to be introduced at Show
7. Surprise for Club FTE members only
8. Group Photo
9. FTE User trucks
10. Club Participation Plaque

FTE's Location
FTE will be in the indoor vendor section. Don't know our exact spot yet, but look for the big banner that looks similar to the Club FTE logo (www.clubfte.com).

Picnic Plans
Club FTE will be attending a picnic Friday evening along with the "Georgia LoRiders" and the "Southern Ontario Classic Pickups". A hat will be passed to cover the costs. Drinks will NOT be provided. Please bring your own drinks. Club FTE members, please do not put anything in the hat, FTE is going to pitch in for Club FTE members. The picnic will be at 6:00pm behind the hotel next to the Grand Hotel/Convention Center. There's a nice lawn back there with trees and a picnic bench. Here'a general sketch of where its at:

I talked to the president of the LoRiders and was told that this is intended to be a club picnic. In other words, you must be a member of the LoRiders, SOCP or Club FTE. Being a web site visitor does not qualify you unless you're there to join one of the three clubs.

Cart Races
After the picnic all three groups are going go-cart racing!! We'll pick the location when we wrap up the picnic.

Breakfast Plans
Smokies Breakfast House at about 8:00 - 9:00 Saturday morning. Stop by the FTE booth for directions.

Club FTE member discounts
Club FTE members will qualify for a 10% discount on all FTE products. This is in addition to any show discounts we'll be applying to several products!

New Products to be introduced at Show
FTE will be introducing restoration parts for 1948-1979 Ford trucks at the show so there will be alot more than just our books there. FTE will have over 1,000 parts, books, CD-ROMs and decals at the show --- this will be your chance to save some bucks with your discount plus no shipping. We'll have over 100 restoration products (licensed Ford reproductions) featured plus a catalog of over 3000 items.

Any catalog item you want to purchase that we don't have at the show will have FREE shipping (except for large freight-only items)!!

Surprise for Club FTE members only
Club FTE members show stop by the booth a register for a big surprise drawing!

Group Photo
All FTE users (not just Club FTE members) and their families are invited to meet together Saturday afternoon at 2:00pm at the FTE booth for a group photo. We'll have the LARGE FTE banner in the photo.

FTE User Trucks
All FTE users, whether or not you belong in any clubs, are asked to stop by the FTE booth to give us directions for finding your truck. We'll be giving you a free FTE window sticker. You're welcome to place it inside your back window (without having to stick it to your window). We're going to view all the trucks in the show and take photos of all FTE trucks.

Club Participation Plaque
Don Neighbors, aka Grover, has been asked to represent Club FTE at the awards show. He'll be picking up the Club Participation plaque. Thanks Don, you're a real trooper considering the abuse I've given you!

Maybe everyone should make a copy of the tentative schedule just incase. Plus, it will give you something to read on the drive down!

Just 4 days, 1 long plane ride and 1 short plane ride and a rental car later. I'll be at the HJ at around midnight on Wed.

I'm really looking forward to meeting all, Ken, Grover, Mike Chesser, and others. Also I'm keenly interested in tech sessions and am taking lots of video and stills.

OK, if I understand this right, then don't count me for
the bbq, but I will be there for the breakfast and the picture.

Ken, are you planning on making prints of the group photo
available? For a reasonable price, of course.

I had to leave one day early (Sat AM) in order to close a sale at my tile store. Was a $6000 order, and I am a little slow now, so I needed it, and, thankfully, I didn't get the "word" until late Friday, so I did get 3 days at the show.
Nice to see Ken/Peggy, plus Michelle and her truck, plus the Ga.Lowriders picnic.

Its the largest 1948-1979 Ford truck show in the world. 900+ trucks for such a narrow focus isn't small.
