Hell - we used to haul butt over the PEE-GEE county line around midnight, when the likker stores closed around Glenmont!

Hell, I built one that had five floors, and a twenty five gallon septic tank. We stole the drum from the apartment grounds maintenance crew!
I said it way back then, and it holds true, you got to think big and settle for whatever comes out of it. The bigger you think - the better off you are.
THAT SOB was big, and lasted until I left...
It took a jackass like Tony Bransford to cut down a tree to try to destroy it to hurt it at all, and most of it was still there even so. He cut a tree deliberately to fall against it - but it didn't work.
Give an idiot an axe and see what happens...

I own my own trees down here in Tennessee these days, and I'm planning to do a Swiss Family Robinson on one of them just for old times sake.
Yep, I remember Y'all - I ain't no stranger. I lived in Glenmont, Rockville, and Wheaton - right across from the mall.
I don't know if you still think that way, but I was a blend of Grease, Freaks, and Jocks.
Mostly Freak and GREASE! The freak end of it got killed off when I went in the NAVY, I don't like dope.
But we were not thinking about electronics back then, as we might have.
I suppose I am what might be called "TECHNO-GREASE"

"Monkey County" refers to Montgomery County, the same as Montgomery Ward used to be called "Monkey Warts"!
PG County is where I 'attempted' to grow up. . . . many, many years ago.
We had 'other' names for PG County. . . too 'extreme' to list on an open forum, due to family forum limitations, thanks goodness!
I had fun at the time. In about 2000 I rode my happy butt back up to my old stomping grounds, arriving there late at night and cruising around.
A lot changed, A lot stayed the same....
I saw and talked with a bunch of high school people that were just then getting rid of all their empties in the middle of Glenmont Forrest Apartments at 3 in the morning in EXACTLY the place I used to hang out and get bombed at in the seventies...
I about rolled on the ground laughing, but also gave them the low-down on "Yeah it was like that too, and yeah it looked kinda hopeless, but this is what I did.. (not to mention GOOD ON YA!)"
Hell, I saw my old apartment where I used to live. It was way cool...
