It looked like a fun trip.
Any "issues"? There's usually at least one issue with someone in the group on trips like that. My first trip to Carslile had a fairly large "issue". guy had all 16 studs strip out and loosten all 4 tires. After the tow and couple hour detour (he ended up spending the night near a dealership) the rest of us were back on the road.
Last year I hit a pot hole (1/2 way through the trip) and bubbled the side wall of a 17" tire and had to get a miss-matshed replacement for the remainder of the trip. No rim damage luckely. also on that trip a guy lost his clutch Friday night of the weekend event. He had at least a 10 hour drive home and luckily someone had a 2 car hauler with extra room so he was able to get home.

Actually, there were 3 issues, but luckly none involved us for once!!
Last time we pulled the trailer it was for Cougarfest in Indy and I-80 in PA destroyed the trialer. I saw it get air a few times on the open bridge ties!!! The wiring shorted out so I had no lights, and the tie down straps were sawed right off.
Anyway, this time for us was problem free because we took the much smoother NY Thruway and cleaned up the burrs around the holes where the wiring passes through. We also had some D rings welded on to keep the straps from chafing in the edge of the trailer.
We actaully had no issues on the way out, but on the way back we had:
1. The guy that we met in the Buffalo, NY area had an almost clogged cat, so after a while when the car heated up it would stall and not start up until it cooled down. We were able to limp him to with 100 miles of his home and he called AAA to come get him.
2. The guy from MA with the other sliver SVT had his Optima Red Top boiling over!! He used my red top from the trailer queen and disconnected his stereo and my battery stayed cool. The last pic is of us changing the batteries over at the Chelmsford Rest stop off 495.
3. The same guy with the battery problem and the guy from CT with the black SVT (with the 3.0 engine swap) were pulled over on the NY Thruway for speeding and the MA guy was nailed for tint, eventhough his tint is legal in MA. At that part of the trip we were in 2 separate groups for a little while! DOH!!!!
We were waiting for issues to arise with the black SVT from MA, becuase his axels need to be repalced because they vibrate. I was nice enough to haul his nice wheels and tires for the show n shine. He rode on his stockers because he didn't care if those tires wore unevenly. Plus he has over 100K on the clock, but he had no problems. His car is probably the most rare SVT Contour though. It is build # 0009 of the first year they were built. When he ran a Car Fax on it, the original owner was FoMoCo!!! There's a guy in our group that works for SVT and said that it was used for promo events, and may even be in catalogs or other media photo ops! It was later autioned off to someone else, and he bought it used.
