Not bad. I am not really a gamer but these held my interest. I like the figure-things-out-as-you-go games. The kind where the whole game is a puzzle. These are not fast paced first shooter games. The first one in the series is really slow moving. Although in the second or third game the female carracter does aquire some serious firepower. The games all move rather slowly.
Lots of scenes that make you jump. I have done the first three and am current stuck in Silent Hill 4. Daughter has left home and her playstation is packed away. Buy my own?
Play the games with the lights off on a stormy night.
