Car Show anyone? June Meet? June 10th?

Well, still sorry I couldn't make the hooters meet, but....on June, 10th There will be a car show at Pinkerton Academy right here in Derry, NH. My school's robotics team is putting this thing on. We had one last year and it wasn't too bad...only F series I saw was a guy that came in late with an old 49' F1.

So if anyone wants to come let me know via PM and I'll get you pre-registered if you want to be in it. If not come on down anyway. May even drag out the amphicar down in my school's auto shop....

Is there a section for those "daily driven" cars/trucks. I'm thinking about it but not shure if I could enter.

Sure, if not I'll make one...I'm kinda putting together part o' this shindig. My Truck WILL be there...and hopefully the 42' jeep I might be getting...

By all means, anyone who wants to, bring trucks, cars, whatever have you. Bring Daily Drivers, just as long as they aren't like some POS Buick whatchamacallit...

I can't think of any reason why they would turn you away.

I'm sure that they'll let yours in.

Ok I see what your talking about. And it is not what you told me at my shop a few weeks back.

Well, a grand national maybe...but old some old bucket of a unibody, low buck junker...that I don't think would fly....no pun intended...

I don't have a GNX. He mentioned Buick POS so I figured I would pick on him a bit that not all buicks are POS's. But anything from 80 on besides the GNX is a grandma car in my opinion.

that is well...it's something! It's big, blue, and blue...so was this little gem the super secret surprise for the hooters meet?

As of today at 12:34 pm, bring what ever you want. Put your vehicle in the show or just come for the fun.

I don't want my 1 fiddy to be all alone...Just look for the only true blue 87 F150 playing the Soprano's theme song in the lot.... (yes I know I'm nuts)

Ya it is... errr...was... and its light green.

I finaly got a ford truck I so I actually fit in. The 72 is wikid fah from bein done, and anyone will tell you I've been showing up in a focus or trying to hide my Yota winter beater. Its actually hidden behind a F350SC in one of the Meet pictures

I've also been so busy that the 68 is not even inspected yet. I still need to fix the back-up lights than drop it off for an inspection. Hopefully I get some days off work next week to get it all done.

And a clarification. If I hit the Derry rotery from Raymond and take the first right the parking lot this is happening in is just up the road on the right or is ther ea parking lot I don't know about??

Coming up the bypass from the circle it is on your LEFT. It's right out front, ya can't miss it. When you come, just mention your from FTE and my name, Pat Sullivan, and your truck's year, make, model...and you'll be in like flint...and 5 bucks cheaper than the other guy and you pay when you come. Wicked simple. So like I said if anyone else wants to go, just let me know here or drop me an e-mail and I'll put you on the list, if you don't come or have something that comes up don't worry about it. We have plenty of room.

I've registered the whole chapter (FTE-New England) so like I said mention FTE and my name and you're set.

Looks like a monkey wrench got thrown in the works again guys. I have just been informed that the car show has been CANCELLED due to rain...

If I hear rain or "inclement weather" one more time I am going to.... ARRGGGHHH!!!

Anyways, thanks to those guys who did want to come, this thing was a bit out of my control, the guy in charge didn't want to get his model A wet... can't say as I blame him, or anyone else with a nice ride.

The rain date is going to be in september or october...kind of stupid time for a show, as everyone has just about put away their cars by that point.

Well look at it this way. In Bennington VT there is a big car show in Sept. And I think most car owner put there cars away in late Oct...

And with all of this rain I'm trying to figure on how to get the first cut of hay in.

maybe I'll put the mower conditioner behind a canoe.
