Post column to floor shifter conversion for 1967 ford f-100

i am looking to avoid linkage repair hassles by converting my column 3spd manual shifter to a floor shifter.

QUESTIONS:
1. how do i find a floor shifter that works with my truck?
2. any specific product recommendations (in this case, i am looking for the cheaper route, unless...) are welcome.

Ford F-100 1967 2WD, 352 engine, 3spd manual no overdrive (warner i think, but don't know for sure...how can i tell?)

thanks in advance,

mm

I put a Hurst Indy 3 speed floor shifter in a '69 I had a few years ago. Don't know where you would find one now but it was cheap back then, was easy to install and worked great.

look on you door plate at the trans code, if it is a "C"its a 3speed ford L.D.,if its a "D" its a Warner M.D.,if its a "E" its a Warner H.D. If you know your tranny it might help it find your shifter easier.

Hey motormustard, I can't help you with the conversion, but here's a good link for you to find out about your tranny and such (considering it's still original and you still have the VIN plate). Good luck with the swap.
