Less air pressure naturally increases the footprint of the tire and prevents that digging, and being that these tires are much larger, we can run them all the way down to 10 - 15psi and still tow a trailer and drive on the street without any problems.

As for the low profile, I totally understand and if it was my personal truck I would certainly go with the larger series tire, infact these tires are actually shorter in height than the stock 275/70R18's that came on the truck, but only by 1/2" or so. Unfortunately we cant have people jumping out of a truck as it increases the risk of injury, not to mention with the utility body, we do need to get into the back as well as see whats in all the cabinets so having 4 - 6" of lift wasnt an option either.
