Dark Stone 250 gets new presents.

I just installed my new wheels and tires I bought on Ebay. Got some 05 17" Aluminum XLT wheels with BFG OWL AT tires complete with new center caps for $700 US. Factory take offs. They look great. Also have a new black leather steering wheel and a electochromatic mirror with outside temp and compass on the way from Fordparts.com. Wanted a Lariat, but there were none around when I bought my XLT last summer under Fords Family pricing special. This will fix up my truck with the options I wanted and couldn't get as it was a dealer transfer from another location. The V10's were hard to find. Installed the chrome heated signal mirrors last year as well. I'll post a couple of pics after I get the steering wheel installed.
Doug

Here's a pic off of ebay of the wheels I got...

Here are a couple of before and after pics. The truck was just waxed in the before pics and it's dirty right now as we've been camping at the lake. The rear will look high as I've put the F350 spring blocks in it. Gotta love the way this 3valve pulls. Trailer scaled at 7500lbs and it cruises down the highway in OD like it wasn't even there.

You'd think I would have thought a little more before picking my screen name. Was thinking about the color of the truck. Makes me sound like a druggie lol.
Thanks for the comments guys...

Congrats on the new truck. Now ya need to step up to the 285x70R17's. $700 seems high to me. Shipping must have been a pain. I bought 4 17" Lariet wheels for $150 with caps.

Just curious why you stuck with the Ford factory look? most who do a wheel and tire change out will go to something aftermarket, and a little more custom looking None the less congrats and I would like to see the mirror you mentioned.

Capt, I can call my friend. You want the stock 17" tires or wheels? 265x70R17? Shipping would be killer tho. I just bought the wheels for $150. Some pics in my gallery of the wheels with Goodyear 285x70R17's MT/R's.

Are you guys running the 05+ style rims on the 99-04 trucks? If so what adapters are you using?
