Red face passages for e85

I've got an old holly 600 sitting around.....simple carbs...think it possible to drill it out to run E85? Advance the timing and whoopee!!?? Just a thought...how much larger would the passages have to be? Think it would work if I also changed to a 50cc squiter ?

Now I haven't tried it, but I think for E85 you could just go to a larger jet size. Methanol is where you really need to drill the passages bigger.

I'd try the bigger jets and maybe a different accelerator pump cam and squirter before you go drilling anything.

May just try it next week. My truck has 10:1 comp so I could really take advantage of the octane & the swap would only take 10 min. Has anyone else tried it?
