skip class?

Its getting to be near the end of the year for me...

before, I'd go to 4th hour study hall, and allways get a pass to go.
Last few weeks, I'd just sneek out
Now, I just dont bother comming to class...

The teacher NEVER leaves his office... Its sepperated from the room, and I'v never seen him leave it...

So, basicly, I'm on lunch from 10:30-11:45.
I'm so tired that I dont do my h/w in the studyhalls, I usually sleep... Except when people are too noisy to allow it.
I go home and eat, or joyride around, then eat...

Anybody else skip their classes? If so, why, and what do you do during your newly aquired time?

J/w

when i was in high school, i use to sneak out the door that was in the library and around to my car and sit there to listen to the radio during lunch, just to relax by myself (and no, i wasn't one of those anti-social wierd kids either)

i personnally felt then, and feel now, they make way to big of a deal out of someone missing class or a school day. as long as the grades are fine, what should it matter?

In the last 3 weeks I've cut my 1st hour class 4 times.

1) Went out to breakfast with the girl I was tring to hook up with (yes, the same one who I talked about in the "Well Crap" post)

2) Went to "study" for out trig final with the same girl

3 & 4) This Tuesday and Wednesday, just need more sleep.

I've got it bad and we don't graduate until June 9th.

Soph year
I used to bail out on a gym class that was during a lunch hour. I'd get dressed, for gym, Sign in, then make my way back to the locker room. Only once one of the gym teachers came in and asked what I was doing, I started dressing for gym and claimed I was late from lunch because I had met with my Bio teach.

Junior year, I had 9th hr (last hr) gym. I wrecked my knee, I was then given library passes, untill I maxxed those out. There were no study halls to go to, and I didn't have a car. I finally went to my dean and asked what I should do. He basically told me he didnt care as long as I didnt get into trouble

graduate june 2nd. Not sure if i will or not. I'm sure i will, but its a littel iffy. One of my classes is AP english, and if you remember from a while back i had a post complaining about it. I was probably keeping a C average in it, until all the stuff happened with my grandpa who died, dog who got put to sleep, and my dad kicked me out (probalby moving back in this weekend). Then the grade went strait in the gutter. Its a required class, I had enough credits to graduate last seimester, but i still have to pass the class. I've always had like a 3.4 GPA, but i think i have like a 40% in my english class. I just cant take it anymore. But I called in sick a few mornings to get some sleep, and leave my 1st block class to go home for food/pop probalby at least once a week.

Take the kick in the nuts and get to class. Talk to your teacher, make it clear that you want to pass and that you will put up the effort. And do it. Screwing up graduating isn't worth it in the long run. And you won't go back. Nobody ever goes back.

I skipped once. Went to school and was working on my computer. Well, one of my teachers had a student teacher teaching her class, so she just wandered around with another teacher that has a break period...and they found me in the "empty" computer lab putting my computer together. Went to the principal, explained my "supposed" situation, he just smirked and told me to get going. I had a valid call-in. I just said I had to do a couple things before me and my uncle took off to move some stuff. I felt like an ***.

That's it. Otherwise, I put up with class.

now tha ti want to post this.

A little while ago, i was having problems in a class, And i asked fro help, from the teacher and the principal. Nothing was done. So i started skipping.

Long story short, im relaly paranoid, so i was always looking around.

they only caught 26 full days I think i skipped upwards of 50 class hours for my 3rd hour. And 40 full days ( i had iss and kept skipping)

I had to go to court yatta yatta. I get pulled into the office everyday, By the principal and the cop asking where i went, Becuase it makes them look bad that they couldnt keep track of kids...

LOL...i tell em everyday. "i would tell ya, but id haft to kill ya"

Out of the 13 years I went to school, I've only skipped class 2 times. One was in the morning. I went to another school for CIT (Computer Information Technology) my senior year, and I skipped that the day before spring break. It actually wasnt even considered skipping...because the teacher said that if you show up, you'll have to entertain yourself for the duration of class.

And I skipped Government finals my senior year also. If you maintain an "A" average throughout the semester, you dont have to take finals...so I didnt have to take them, and went home early.

I cut all my classes 2 months before graduation, untill the end of the school year...so yeah I dropped out...I wasnt going to grad anyways, no way I coulda passed english. So I figured at the beach with the babes was better than in class. I planned on going back the next year, I went for the first day...never went back. Had I known I wasnt going to graduate highschool, I would have dropped out after I finished grade 10 and started working. Thats just me, Im a tradesman (run heavy equipment)....woulda been nice to get a diploma, college education, and one of those jobs where you wear a suit and sit in a big comfy chair infront of a desk tho.

We usually have a "class skip day" where say everyone from the Class of '07 skips, we get back into a little party spot around here where only trucks can get, spend the majority of the day there, life goes on. We have two a semester usually.

And we skip exams if we qualify to be exempt, which we're allowed to do.
