I watched the movie Ray about Ray Charles and its broken into year segments In the life of Ray Charles like 1948, 1950 and 1954 and as the segment opens for 1954 a 56 ford pick up drives by and I had to laugh my a-- off. everybody thought I was crazy. Thats what you call the horse before the cart. POPs

Like in the movie "Hollywood Knights" the scene where Tony Danza is racine his yellow 57 Chevy against the Cobra, if you look real close toward the end of the race on the side of the road is a '78 Trans-Am, it's gold in color. I just laughed, since the movie came out in'78 and was supposed to be taken place in 65?
I know that's off topic, but it is sort of?? In a warped kind of way.

yes, that '56 was driven by both Gomer and Goober. I think it belonged to Wally who owned the "fillin' station." One of the best episodes with the truck is when Barney gives Gomer a ticket for making a U-turn. Gomer then gives Barney a citizens arrest for doing the same. Great show, great truck!

I also can remember a Christmas special of "ALF" (Alien-Life-Form)years back that had Santa driving around in a pretty nice red "54 F-100.Alf was helping him deliver toys in the truck. Probably has been a good 15 or more years ago now.That the only part of the show that I really remember.
