79 Ford truck w/428 on the Mysask.com classifieds
I was browsing the Mysask.com classifieds and noticed a guy in Craven is selling a 79 Ford truck with a 428.He is asking $2000, I just thought I would post it if anyone is interested.

A F150 with a 428 would be sweet, I sold a 76 XLT with a 428 and will never ever do that again.

rims are 6 bolt, oh well i guess

one slight issue, he states all original . so something ain't right. i bet if someone asks him to count the valve cover bolts it will be 8 which is a 351M/400 not a FE engine.

It only says the interior is original, or at least that's how I read it.
"for sale this truck is a sweet unit,428 v8 has some rust. but is very restorable.interior is mint and original,glass is perfict.tires are new.it has white mags on it,and all the crome that the lariets come out with. it's a must see."

Oh yeah that sounds right, did they even come out with 428s in those years of trucks stock?

No, I'm pretty sure a 428 wasn't an option in 79.

Nope they didnt come with 428's as a option in 79 but i agree it would still be a sweet combo

What was the big motor combo in 79 ? Did they have the 460s then?
