For cool, I'd say Flatty. For power, I love the 385 series.

Gotta go with the Cleveland/M-Blocks with the FEs a close second, then 385s, then the 302s.... then the Y blocks and Flatheads... thats not saying that I don't like the flatheads though...

I like all motors, but the 351 is my favorite of all, its between the 302, and 460 in displacment, and can be put into just about anything with wheels with little trouble.

ya what about them??? So you would go from a old school to a new ugly looking v10 that u can do limited work on? why? thats like putting a chevy engine in a ford body. its just dumb. id say get a older 460, big, powerfull, looks good, and you can work on them without going to school for these new engines.

maybe i'm the weird one here, but i'd take my 300 inline 6 over any of 'em.

its simple to work on, never left me stranded anywhere, and for how bad its been beat on it still runs pretty good.

needless to say it'll out last every motor on that list.

I will go with my good ol' 300 straight six (soon to be a 309cu.in. 450hp 600 lb ft monster). Aside from that, Boss 428, 351M, and then the 351C, although the 572 is a nice little mill.
