opus is starting off with a positive reputation.
On a stock intake/exhaust setup, do you think adding a 2 bbl would be worth it?

Welcome to the forum, Gayle B!

Depending on whether or not you are mounting the carburetor by using an adapter [2/1] or replacing the intake manifold with an aftermarket one [i.e.Clifford, Offenhauser] and what year your truck is, you might be able to use the original cable or some have found a longer stock cable [for a V8]? Others use a LOKAR cable found @ parts stores. They come in different lengths.
