VERY NICE!

Stylish, innovative and powerful......but it's no replacement for the X.

Looks Good but the EL does not replace the Excursion. Should put up a better fight against the Suburban.
I'll have to go and look at them when they hit the showrooms.

I like the styling, it is improved over the current Expy. The IRS is a nice feature for ride quality. A six speed tranny is another nice upgrade.

I almost bought an Excursion at the very end of the build cycle and wish I would have. I like the rigidity of the Super Duty frame over the light duty frame.

For most folks though, the Expy or Expy EL is enough. Nice job Ford.

Hmm... guess I'm the odd one out. I prefer the looks of the current grille.

I think it looks pretty nice. But like others, I prefer my Excursion. Things I thought the EL would have are driver doors like the Super Duty and a V-6 PSD....It said it had a new frame design, maybe the engineers thought of that when designing it...

Good looking vehicle only I'm keeping my Excursion until they put a V10 in the Expedition.

Well even though I just bought my 2003 expy 4 months ago, I am already looking to buy this one once I need a new truck. Damn, I knew I should have waited.

Thumbs up

I'll give a thumbs up. Lots of upgrades from my '03. Since they stretched the rear, why not stretch the front to fit the V10?l (just a dream I know) I agree the stretched EL version is definately not a replacement for the Excursion, but to have the additional room behind the last row would be a big plus in my book. Are those optional chrome clad wheels the same as the current Navigator's??

Maybe they'll build a 3/4 ton version if demand calls for it. Yum...V10 or PSD in that lovely package. .....
