Vibration
Hi, I have a rumble when the truck is loaded with the camper. It vibrates only when I go foward from the start or when I climb steep hill at low MPH. It looks like the wheel are jumping?
Any idea?

Anything broken underneath? Leaf spring, shock mount, carrier bearing? Could be any number of things.

when you load the truck, you are changing the driveline angles. you may have a u joint that needs replacement or the carrier bearing if you have an extended cab. there could also be a spline off one of the drive axles, but look into u joints first and see if there is any rust or discharge from them.

My truck is a super cab, long box. It vibrates only when camper is on, 2300 pounds in the box. Other than that, no vibs, even a 90 MPH.

also, you may be experiencing a miss in the engine or if you have auto trans, it might be the converter or trans with the extra weight on the truck. I would imagine the u joints would do it all the time.

Found the problem. The mechanic cut off 2 inches from the drive shaft middle support and changed the bearing. No More vibs. I tried it in a 18 percent hill, dead stop and pedal to the floor, no vibs at all.
The drive shaft was to much out of alignement.
