Has anyone else ever had the trim piece attached to the grab bar that runs along the windshield rattle on them? Is there an easy fix for this? The grab bar isn't loose, it seems just as tight as when I bought the truck but the rattling will sometimes drive me crazy. I have a 2003 F150 4x4 Supercab. I love my truck but my only squabble would be interior noises.....

 

I think I have the same noise you are talking about. I usually notice it more though after I have the defrost on for a while. Hopefully someone here knows how to fix this.

I used to waste hours taking apart panels and dash boards trying to find rattles and squeeks, and I hate to say it, but just JAM the radio louder, you will find it helps two things, the rattles go away and you drowned out the sound of your wife or girlfriend LOL, just kidding. But seriously my 2003 fx4 has 52,000 miles on it and I find that ford uses a foam material on the fastners on the door panels, I'm not sure about the grab bar, but if it is like the door panel the foam over time falls off, so I stuck some more camper top foam behind the fastners on the door panel and that rattle went away. Also try tightning the grab bar screws. Hope that helps a little.
