Smile Bilstein Shocks

Hello All: I was thinking about getting Bilstein Heavy Duty shocks for my 2003 F150 Supercab 4x4. I have been told that it's like a night and day difference from the stock shocks but wanted to see if anyone else has had experience with them or reccomends another brand? Thanks much.

Got the Bilstein's for my truck, replaced all 4 (obviously) in December of 2003. I have the 97 f150 long wheel base with the extended cab and 8 foot bed. Stock Shocks weren't bad at all, but I wanted to stiffen up my ride a bit. The Bilstein's did the trick. They ride beautifully, give me seemingly perfect support on the road without being TOO stiff. Plus, when people drive behind you, and see those yellow and blue beauties supporting your truck, you get compliments and people saying, "woah, what kinda' shocks you got on there?" Paid $259.80 for all 4, included shipping. - that was 64.95 a piece for the front (BE5-2478) and rear (BE5-2479). I clicked a link directly off Bilstein's page to "Donssport.com" Seemingly compitent dealer, no problems and fast shipping. Good Luck to you all.

I'll tell ya what NOT to get to stiffen up the ride: Noleen GR-2's. Now normally Noleen GR-2's are known as an above-average handling replacement shock or strut for cars, but after putting Monroe Reflexes on the rear I saw the error in my ways with the six month old GR-2's. I've been looking for a replacemnt for them, and am gonna consider the Bilsteins now - thanks guys.

I ordered mine through www.shox.com . $269 plus CA tax since I live here. Shipping was free. I compared prices online, ebay and others, found this to be the best place to deal with.
