We wouldn't miss it either. We're going up Friday night, to the car show Saturday, then back home Sunday.
Staying at the Thunderbird on the beach. Just love hanging out Friday & Saturday nights watching all the old cars, trucks, rods and all the unusual stuff running the strip.
Maybe we'll see you there, we're not too hard to miss as Steve never goes anywhere without his cowboy hat. Check out my gallery and you'll see the type hat I'm talking about. Also, One or the other of us will have MY FTE shirt on.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 05-Sep-02 AT 04:17 PM (EST)]I'm trying to talk a buddy of mine in to using his motorhome so we can have more money for the swap meet. I'll have folks here for thanksgiving so we are planning to go very early saturday am.We'll be sure to look for that cowboy hat and FTE t shirt. I'm going to try to get the three of us FTE shirts before then and i always wear a Marine Corp bdu(hat)hope to see you there.
Wouldn't miss it, been going since it was on the beach. This will be the first trip for the ol '74 short bed, I ain't got enuff $ to fill the bed of the dually this year. We'll be there Fri. and/or Sat. depending on the weather, of course Biketober Fest occurs is a month earlier and the NSRA Nats in Tampa is but a month away. Plenty of week end trips coming up, have Radio Flyer-will travel.
The NSRA nats is an easy one for me i'm only 15 minutes from the fairgrounds.I'm still working on my custom Radio Flyer i'm putting *BIGGER* tires on mine to handle the weight of goodies from the swap meet
Hey Wiz - didn't know anything about it. Anyway, what with starting a business & all this year, we can only make one or the other and the Turkey Rod wins hands down. Besides the show, wouldn't want to miss the wings & beer at the Ale House. We go there every year after the show. They have the best Garlic Hot Wings & Onion Strings.
Wiz- already got the mudders on wagon, should have the beer cooler well in 'er by the Turkey Run if not before. How's Jeff doin' at the wrecker/diecast yard? I got a couple of interior parts for my '74 from him a while back.:+
