Does any one know the differences in the 4.2L engines between '97 and '03?
Does any one know the differences in the 4.2L engines between '97 and '03. I am looking to swap engines in my '97 4.2L Automatic. Unfortunately I do not have the cash for a new one so I will have to use a "take out" and I am trying to figure out which ones will be compatible with the ECU and wiring in my '97. I would like to use one from an '02 or '03. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Also should I change out the tranny while I am at it?
