What does it take to tune my 97 f-150 with a 5.4
I got a 1997 F-150 5.4L my ford dealership wants $700 to tune this thing up I think its outrageous. So I would like to do it myself. What parts do I need to get this job done right? Any info would be great thanks in advance for all the help.

Together they have the info you need. You'll also figure out why the stealership quoted a day's work for the plugs...
Plugs are the only "tune-up" item. Other things to do would be clean the EGR ports, replace filters, replace belts and hoses, flush cooling system, tranny service, etc... It's all up to you what you want to do and what is due to be done.
