So what is your favorite restaurant in the area and what did they have.
Me... Whips in Sidney, IA has the best Prime Rib. I ate at Cheeburger last weekend and it was pretty good too. I love Mexican food and usually go to Netties or LaMesa. BBQ, I will usually just hit Famous Dave's but if I can sneek to KC then I love Gates BBQ.

I really like La Mesa too. For pizza, I like Johnny Sortino's. Have not tried Lo Solo yet... everyone I've asked has nothing but good things to say about it. Famous Dave's is good. The wife and I like Anthony's steak house at 72nd and I-80. You can't go wrong with a place that has a giant cow for a sign
Anyone know of good a good Chinese place? I go to the China Buffet at 114th and Dodge and also the one on W. Maple, but I'm still looking for a good non-buffet place.

Go down South 24th and right before it dumps you into Bellevue it will be on the right side.

Well CB, being 6'6" and over 300 I don't think there's too many people that would tell you that you're fat!!! Grand Island doesn't really have a whole lot that other towns don't. My favorite Mexican resturant would be El Toro. It's really pretty good. Besides that we have Applebee's, Whiskey Creek, and Carlos O'Kelley's (another Mexican resturant). That's about all we have out this way, aside from fast food joints and local bars (most of which are actually pretty good).

That is the best Chinese place hands down. Every thing is fresh and another big plus I don't get sick there.
