using shortening or lard in the summer

I know the cloud point of this stuff is pretty high but at the same time it makes good bio especially in warmer temps. I have a pretty good source for this stuff and would like to make a few batches, though I think I would only have the guts to run B50.
Does anyone use lard and/or shortening bio exclusively?
Can you mix this with veggie fuel? For example 50% lard/shortening and 50% veg oil (post processing blend)
Great Site
Thanks!

I use it all the time. I blend it BEFORE i make it and with my testing it only raised the cloud point 1 deg F. I mix all the different oils that I collect [from 26 places] together first before I make my bio. Some places use canola, some use corn, KFC uses solid shortening. By blending first the solids don't seem to make much differance.
