What size tire are you running? But, to answer your question, yes. I'm having a set of stock 16x6 steel wheels widened to 7". I really can't tell you much more than they were widened by Stockton Wheel in California, they took nearly 4 months to complete and they are somewhere in the UPS system with a delivery date of this Wednesday.

Hey, Right now im running 315/75/16. I was thinking of putting on a set of 37/12.5/17 for my next set. Its been hard finding a set of steel 17" 8x170mm. I was told that i might be able to get them widened to about 8",depends on the lip on the rim. Im getting some tire wear with my tires on the 6" wheels right now. I will do a search for stocton wheels. Thanks.
Hey what size are u running?

Wow, that's a wide tire on a stock rim. Are you running spacers? And what type of wear are you getting? Stockton Wheels is www.stocktonwheel.com. I'm putting on Super Swamper SSR 35x10.5.

yup i have a 2" spacer in the rear. I think the wear on the front tires were due to ball joints and a bad hub assembly. The rears seem to wear even. I still would like to have the wheels wider.Hey how much did it cost to get your wheels done?

You provide the steel wheels (I bought a used set off of ebay for around $380. incl. shipping) and it cost $155/wheel which included having them powdercoated black.
