Add-A-Leaf COMPLETE Kit

I need to know what I need to fully complete to put on my add-a-leafs on my 1990 f250 w/ 460. The add-a-leafs are 3 inches wide and come with center pin. Anyone else know what i need like drop brackets and the size of them and stuff? Please reply soon! Thx.

Correct me if i'm wrong anybody, but I dont think you need any thing else to install them. Just loosen the factory U-bolts and insert the xtra leaf where the instructions say.

If you haven't heard so yet, add-a-leafs stiffin up your ride (unless you like that) and will eventually sag back to the way they were before you put them on. But anyway, they are easy to install and shouldn't take very long.

Yeah, you don't need anything special, just put them on. They're easy to install, as long as your u-bolts aren't super rusty.

I've heard or actually read in the Chilton's manual that once you've loosened the ubolts you need to replace them. The are torque compressioned or something like that. Not true?

you will need an alignment, and dont expect them to give you much lift, and dont expect it to last much more than a year

He'll only need an alignment if he's putting them on the front. I'm assumed he was talking about the rear.

Maybe the question really should be, what are you trying to accomplish with the truck?
