Leaking Timing Gear Cover

How hard is it to replace the timing gear cover gasket? I have a '95 F-150 with 145k, and their is an oil leak from around the timing gear cover that has gotten worse. Should I replace the timing chain and the gear while I'm at? What special tools might be required?

Well, 300s use timing gear not chain.

You have remove all front of the truck, like front grid, AC condenser, radiator and the worse the vibration damper also... it has a 15/16" bolt very hard to remove. Then you can remove the cover, will need the gasket and the crankshaft seal.
