I'm looking at a 1992 F350 Diesel (non turbo) to buy.I have never owned a diesel and would appreciate any coments or suggestions for this year truck. I pull a cattle trailer 20'. Will this have any problems pulling it? Can't aford a new one.Also this truck has 205k on it top end has been redone at 120k and trans rebuilt at this time.

 

i think it would be a good buy especially since you pull a cattle trailer and i at least dont think there would be any problems pulling the cattle trailer but thats just my opinion

 

I think you'll do just fine with it. Is it an automatic or manual? The E4OD automatic tranny s of that era were known for their problems. The manual tranny however is very reliable.
