electric brake controller install?

I know where to hook this thing up , but was wondering if there is a harness that plugs into the connector so I don't have to cut the wires?

You mean so you can plug it directly into your controller?

Wouldn't that be controller specific. You would have to contact the controller company to see if they have a connector for fords..your year etc.

If you have the Protige controller by Toshiba, they make a plug that connects directly to the Ford underdash plug and the controller. It was a very easy install thanks to that plug.

Ford makes a plug that connects to the one under the dash w/4 wires (the same color as the brake controller).

If your truck came with a trailer hitch from Ford it should have come with the harness as well. Look in your glove box, that's where I found mine. Otherwise any place that sells brake controllers or installs hitches should have them. You will still have to splice the connector wires to the wires coming out of the controller, but you won't have to cut any wires on your truck.

electric trailer brake controller hook up

Hi.....I just traded my 05 F250 5.4L for a 04 f250 6.0L much better truck if you ask me. but anyway I can't find the plug under the dash to hook up the trailer brake controller!! I found it on my 05 model plugged into the back of the pocket on the dash where the factory controller would be installed if it were so equiped.
does anyone know where i can locate it??
