92 F250 7.3 IDI want to run on WVO
I live in Central Texas and I am hoping that our warm weather will prevent me from having to heat my oil.
I plan on running 5-15% Regular Unleaded Gas with the WVO to keep it thin. Probably on the low end during the summer and higher in the "winter."
Is anybody doing this with this year diesel?
Are there any issues I should be aware of? How does the fuel pump hold up?
Thanks

Like Erick said, Bad,Bad idea. Unheated WVO will cause coking of the injectors, and will build up behind the rings and cause excessive cylinder wear.
The addition of gasoline is a bad idea too, gasoline has a lower vapor point than diesel and will ignite sooner. this causes excess cylinder pressure, and higher cylinder temps.
Either make Biodiesel, or use a heating system to heat the WVO.
