best burn out ever?

My best burn out was in my dads old truck (2002 F-250 7.3 Powerstroke). My buddy had just bought a 68 Firebird and was headed south of town were the unoffical drag strip is (starts on the end of a bridge that crosses the river and then is marked by a man hole) i met him on the bridge 1/2 across facing opposite directions. I was like "want to run them" he just shook his head and I power stalled it i let off the brake and only had it 3/4 throttle. I liquidized the tire for half the lenght (150+feet) of the bridge and I let off. My dad was not happy with the distruction of the tire but he just laughed. He traded off that truck before I could do one the length of the bridge.

Hey, easy on me now lol, i own a Ford too, but its a 5 speed and it doesnt have near the power that my dodge does so thats what i do them in. Someday that cummins will be in a 79 though... i cant wait.... haha, anyways yeah i do in the dodge cause i dont care about it near as much as my Stroker, and i'm getting new tires too so why not? lol O yeah and the other day i had dads 01 crew cab F-350 4x4 stroker and there was some kids at school that didnt think it had the power to burn em off at, so being a little of a show off in our diesel trucks... hehe i showed them that it does have the power... when i left that lot i think all of their jaws were on the ground......

I did 30 or 40 ft black strips and big clouds of white smoke with my dads 04 dmax 2500 last summer on a small bridge in the back roads last summer. last weekend the pos wouldnt burn the tires no matter how I tried. best I could do was about 3-4 ft and no smoke. one funny thing, it's got an open diff but smokes (when it does) both tires.

Granted I have done a lot of stupid stuff in cars, however I have never done so when it would pose a large risk to other drivers on the road. I do not live in a heavily populated area. As a matter of fact, My wife and I are the only two people that live on my road. My road is almost two miles long. Heck if I want to get a pack of smokes I have a twenty min drive to the nearest place that sells them (a bar just outside of town) let alone to go into town for groceries which takes 30 to 35 minutes. Just something to think about.
Just for your info as well what really scared her the second time (yep she was scared the first time in the parking lot as my original post said) was the hard 0 to 60 launch, not the small burn out that I had just done before to warm up the tires.
Not trying to flame you here, but figured I would let you in on some of the facts.

I know the feeling
My dads 97 f-250 with a powerstroke will do a hell of a burn out one day and the next it woun't even bark the tires. It doesnt have a locker and its not limited slip but it leaves two big black marks when it gets going. One night I power braked it on a chip and seal road. I stoped when it shifted in to 3 and the speedO hit 80 mph! When I got home I scraped the tar of the exhaust pipe with a knive. It was like srapping of mud. My old 81 only leaves one black mark but its wide because of my 285 in rear tires!

Sadly my fx4 wont do a burnout unless i power brake it but my 94 was great spin them all the way through third, dry wet dirt whatever. My burnout car would have to be my mustang whenever i want under about 45mph or so jump on it and your spining the tieres, And not one, bolth because it hase a spool. but my most memorable one would have to be in front of my school last day of school my friend and i did a powerbrake at the exit and then let off the brake and went all the way down the street a good 50 or 60 yards!

The best one(smokewise) my 54 F100 223 I6 with a 3 spd on the column before I took it all apart to street rod it, had a set of McGrery Dirt Track tires, really good compound and put up a lot of smoke. Pretty good for the stock Dana with 4.11s and the I6/3spd, hopefully my 9" with a 351W/AOD will do better with another pair of those tires...hahaha..
