97 DRW F350 Steel Wheels on 2000 DRW F350?

Looks like they will fit... do they? Both are 16" I believe.

Nope. No go. Ford in their infinite wisdom decided that they would change the bolt pattern slightly just so you can't change the wheels between OBS and NBS (old body style/new body style).

The 97 has an 8x6.5" bolt pattern while the 00 has a 8x170mm bolt pattern. It works out to a little less than 1/8" difference. Also, the 00 uses a "hub-centric" style method to center the wheels on the hubs while the 97 uses conical lug nuts to center the wheels.
