how do i find out my mpg ????

Question how do i find out my mpg ????

ok i was wonderin if any of yall could tell me how to figure this up????. (my od read 954202 when i filled up and now im on empty and it reads 956009) i have a 14 gallon tank if that helps. thanx in advance

OK, so you have 180.7 miles on the tank. If you put 13 gallons into your 14 gallon tank, you have acheived 13.9 MPG.

You divide the miles by how many gallons you put in for your MPG.

Every time you fill up try to do it at the same pump. Record the miles driven since you last filled up. Use your trip odometer or paper records. Divide the number of miles driven since the last fill by the amount of fuel you just added to fill the tank. The result is your Miles Per Gallon. If the result is real high or real low there was probably a mistake somewhere.
