Im going to put a SB EFI Ford Motor in my 50 Ford Truck. Right now my plans have been based off the 345 horse motor out of Summit and I was wanting more HP. Shocker right? I dont have room for a supercharger so thats out. Nitrous is great but I dont want my finger on the button every time I go from red light to red light. My question is who makes a 5.0 with about 450 horsepower. My budget is about 5 to 6K for the motor. I have all components but the long block so that isnt a factor. This is a hot rod for weekend fun so fuel mileage isnt a big deal and its not my main source of getting from A to B. Any Ideas?
