Post Coworker Got a New BigTex Flatbed Trailer

He brought it to work for show and tell today. It's a nice 20 footer. 10,000 GVWR with a beavertail with ramps that stow underneath out of the way. I think he said it was 82" between the fenders. Very nice trailer.

He bought if to carry a compact tractor and implements. It's his first trailer. I showed him how to set up the equalizing bars and his new Prodigy brake controller. Coached him a little in the business of backing up a trailer.

If you see a Dodge Cummins pulling a John Deere tractor heading for you, get out of the way, it's him!

My next door neighbor's son has a Big Tex landscape maintainance trailer that is very well made and set up just right for his application. He pulls it with a '98 F350 flatbed with a PSD. Nice rig.

I have a 2000 Big Tex 20' flatbed tandem, 7000 GVWR. I use it to haul the motorcycles and atv's out to the desert, and sometimes to haul the Bronco, and anything else that needs to be moved. It's been a good trailer.

I'll keep an eye out for that John Deere!

I have a Cig Tex dual tendem gooseneck that I use to haul a backhoe and I have been impressed with it so far. Seems to be pretty well built.
