02 Explorer Tire size

I need tires for my EB 2wd. can I get something wider than the stock 245/70r16 on it ? The clearance in the front tire to spring is close now. Can I go to a 75 profile and get wider ? Maybe a 265/75r16 ?. I see a lot of take off wheel and tires in my local swap sheet. People with more money than I replace the stock with custom set ups and sell the take offs cheap. Would the Wheels off a another Ford Truck fit? Thanks
