Does anyone know of a Fuel heating system for a 01, 05 & 06. I plan on running B50 all summer but next winter that may be a bit much. It don't get real cold down in South GA.. Next year I would like to run SVO-VVO all year!!

 

Running B50 probably will not need heat any time of the year down in GA. I think you'd be good to about 20F or so before you'd need any sort of heat. But then you could always run like B20 or something in the real cold week or two you get.

well then you'd want to convert the vehicle. We have kits for 2nd gen 7.3s and 6.0 PSDs.

Went over there and looked at that!! If I lived above the mason Dixon line I might do that. I don't, Thank God!! I don't think I would have any trouble running VVO during the Summer 8 Months down here!! They had a 12V in line heater that looked like something I might get!!

 

Right again Eric, I use B-80 in the winter with no problems. He should be able to run B-100 for 11 mo in Ga and maybe run B-80 in the one cold mo.

I built a couple of heaters on our big rigs just to help pre-heat the bio. I took a 3/8" steel tee and used a glow plug in the tee side and run the fuel through the straight side. I put it just before the IP, seems to work just fine.
