Smile differential oil capacity????

Hello. I just changed the rear end in my 1989 f250. I need to know how much oil goes in the rear end? Or how to tell when it is full? Thanks

With the truck on a level surface you keep filling until it starts to leak out of the fill hole.

Should be 7.5-6.5 pints of Hypoid gear lube.
E0AZ-19580-A (ESP-M2C154-A) or equivalent.

If you have Limited Slip, also add 8 ounces of Friction Additive.
C8AZ-19B546-A (EST-M2C118-A) or equivalent.
