I wouldn't mind taking the wife and kids to the rodeo, she has been wanting to go to one for a while. Have you ever been to Frontier days in Cheyenne, Rob? I used to have an uncle that live just down the street from the rodeo grounds. Frontier Days is always a blast!

 

Well it is about 30 minutes from Glenwood taking the backroads. If you were on the Interstate it isn't too bad. I would guess 45 minutes from the Metro. It used to be a much bigger deal with famous country singers having concerts and all sorts of stuff. It has died down a bit but is still a good time. I would suggest paying the extra couple of dollars per ticket to get the good seats though.

 

We used to go to Frontier Days every year when we lived in Colorado Springs. I haven't been for a few years. It is a blast. The only problem is it's nearly impossible to find a hotel, especially on the weekend. That never mattered since we could do a day trip from Colorado Springs.

CB - I agree with you on the extra $ for the good seats, makes the whole experience more fun.

 

I'm going to have to try to get back out to cheyenne sometime. Your right about the hotel situation, I've heard it's a nightmare.
